Of all the RUDE! Fair enough if they put the offer in BEFORE there is a buter, but once that deposit is down, the only permissable thing to do is ask to leave your details so that if the buyer defaults or whatever, you can have 2nd choice. You don't buy horses out from under people. :-( Rude rude rude. Besides, I'd never let my horse go to someone who isn't going to come down and test ride and vet check first. Who knows what kind of home he would end up in! Could even be a dealer. If Klara is holding her ground and saying that's rude at this point even tho they have offered more money, I dare say you guys will be fine. Once she has accepted a deposit she has to hold him anyway. The only thing she can do is withdraw him from sale, which i seriously doubt she will do. I wouldn't worry yourselves about it; while she seemed quite distracted etc I think she really does love that horse and want the best for him. Which is you guys. Or me now and again ;-)
