I really need to post the High Country stuff! Sorry, guys! It's been seriously just mental. Here, have some honest to god deadly serious these are real brumbies.



The grey is the stallion, his name is Max and he's a Waler. More soon, I promise.

It's a breed of horse that developed here in Australia. They are seriously awesome. VERY tough. They also have a spot in our countries heart because of their link with our Anzacs. Wiki describes them very well; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waler_horse
I'd take one in a heartbeat! They are fabulous horses.

The grey at the front is actually silver :) They've had a SHITOON of rain up there so everything was very wet and the horses very dirty so you couldn't really see their colours. But yep, he's a silver :)

That was a fascinating read, and they do sound wonderful. I must say, that article did nothing to ease my craving to own a horse again. :-)
