so today my search and rescue training at work came in handy :-)
I was in a hyper mood. Told all the guys when they logged in that I was not their dispatcher today, I was their Evil Overlord. They were my Minions out to do my Evil Bidding brooohahaha. They ALL played along!!! Even the grumpy ones! :-D
Terri had her hubbies car today, a great bi massive 4WD which I have NO experiance with. She had it to go pick him up at the airport after work a her car was too small for everything. She drove out at lunch time and figured she's swap to Gas since the car is dual-fuel. We get a call from her saying HEEEELP!!! Car won't start. It was my lunch break and it was bucketing rain so I was eating at my desk. I tried to find one of the guys but none were around. So I hopped in the car and headed out. Tred to start it, no joy. Figured ah wait, try starting from petrol. It tried but died. Guage showed it was on empty. So we drove to the servo, got a jerry-can of unleaded and headed back. The stupid jerry had a striaght funnel so trying to get it into the tank was a BITCH. Got petrol all over my hands. YUK.
Hopped back into the car and it coughed into life. WHEEEEE!!!! I worked it out ALL BY MYSELF. :-) Hoo-rah.
I wonder if the CFA would let me put that down as search and rescue call out? I had to search the highway for her car... then I rescued her. Surely that counts ;-)
On another note we started talking about prostitues, and what the difference was between your average street walker whore and one who whores herself out in a brothel. There were all sorts of observations flying around when I piped up with; well, i guess it's like eggs. You can get cage laid, and be assured of quality, or you can go free-range and take your chances. Holy crap..... no one could take a call for about 5 minutes due to the hysterical laughter that resulted. :-D Ahhh, sometimes my alternative personality amuses even me.
