This is The Hunger Games by Suzeanne Collins. Holy goodness. I saw a review of it in one of our big national newspapers and the story line intrigued me. I used my evil library computer catelogue powers for good and tracked it down. I have been reading this book like I had been starving and this was a feast. There are few books I get into a deep at this one, esp with the blood-y story line. But...

OMG HOW GOOD IS IT?!?!??!?!?!?! I was a little hesitant at first, always am with the books that get the HYPE, you know? Been burned a few times. But oh my gosh, what a fabulous book. Just fabulous. I can't wait to read the 2nd and 3rd installments. I have the 3rd book waiting for me here but still waiting for the library to get the 2nd one in. It's driving me NUTS!!!! Desperately avoiding looking at ANYTHING about it online as I so do NOT want to ruin the story for myself :) I looooooove Katniss :) Rue was my favourite tho, my god did I bawl my eyes out!!!
