First Entry
Dec. 8th, 2004 10:09 amHmm, ok, first entry. This is sort of cool! I have, what feels like always, kept a journal at home. Mainly on PC because I can type much faster than I can write and therefore can get more of my thoughts down. Plus it's enviornmentally friendlier and easier to store. :-) So things have been good. I'm getting a little better at riding Zarah (my zzr 'bike), still have heaps to learn though, gets a little discourgaing when I realise just how much I DON'T know! But I have good mates and they are helping me (god bless Craig, Marion and Al!!!!). It was the same when I started out with horses; SO much to learn! But still, I am REALLY starting to enjoy riding now! I loved it before, now it's even better! Pillion is still heaps of fun tho.
Horses are going well. Danny needs to loose some serious weight, so wish I had my own land so I could regulate it better. *sigh* I so miss riding him, he's not the most gorgious horse to look at, I know, many people underestimate him. But to me, he's absolutly priceless and very beautiful. He was THE best first horse I could have ever had, so good to ride, would try his heart out for you, always game to go anywhere, do anything, gave me so much confidence. Even though he was the smallest and heaviest of the all the horses I rode with, he was always up the front and always fast as hell! Gee I miss riding him, I wish I could fix his leg so we could go for a bareback bolt up in our hills again, just once more. :-(
Destiny has turned out so well too tho! I think I can actually beam with pride at myself and her with how well we've done. We've overcome some pretty nasty obstacles to get to where we are. She's not quite as game as Danny but she's still brillient to ride, very smooth, very very very quick. And because we understand each other so well, we always have fun. I love riding her in the bitless, she's getting used to it as well. It's her 8th birthday today too. :-)
I'm in a bouncy mood lately! Not just because of the 'bike, but there's this guy I've met and he's kinda sweet. Known him for a while now, met him at Cat and Dale's when Craig intro'ed me to Ausmoto. Knew I liked him because turned into stuttering fumble footed idiot whenever he was near, always a good sign. He's... alright, eh! Kinda cute, funny as hell, smart, gorgious, rides a bike, likes horses and dogs, can write.... oh man! HAHAHAHA!And here I was swearing not more than 2 months ago that I would never ever again fall into THAT trap again! Not after bloody Tavis. But what could I do? His belly button talks French!
