I grew up in a suburb called Dandenong, in the South East suburbs of Melbourne. When I was a kid, it was actually no where NEAR as busy as it is now, but it always had a rep esp at night for being dangerous. It's always been a very multicultural community too.  Recently the African refugees have moved in to my old suburb and the surrounds. Because they look so different and really stand out for their tallness and darkness of skin, SOME sections of the community blame them for EVERYTHING. Yes, there have been some issues, but seriously what the hell do you expect from kids who have been raised in nothing but extreme bloodshed and violence? They move here for a 2nd chance! To give their children a chance to grow up without the terror fo seeing everyone they love being murdered before their eyes. They get an education, health care, things EVERY kid should have access too. Yep there will be adjustment problems, but I think they are alrady settling down. Personally I think the women are just soooo beautiful, so damn exotic looking with these incredible faces. They have such a great sense of colour in their clothing too, and the kids are adooooorable and quite frankly much better mannered than Aussie kids. I ghave no issue with them. But now someone is distributing flyers about how Dandenong and surrounds had turned into slums because of them, What a bunch of stupid, racist BS. Hard enough going to a new place, new culture, new language, new everything, without this rubbish.  I hope whomever sent those flyers out has a serious think about what they are doing. I hope they never ever experiance
