Yup I just spoke with Tanya, would be interesting if you guys do get it, that way you could come down and we could do the trails near me. :-) OMG all 4 of us could go out and hit those trails! SQUEEEEEEE!!!! When's your next lesson? Hand hint with steering, use the rein to signal which way you wanna go and just gentle apply pressure with that leg as well, and squeeze just behind the girth with the OPPOSITE leg. Makes them swing their butts around nicely rather than just 'fall in' to the turn. Also when you are asking him to whoa, try rising just a little bit in your irons. I noticed when I sat down into the saddle with him he started to get ready to work, must have been anticipating me asking him to increase his pace. That's how most well trained horses are trained. So if you raise your weight just a little bit when asking him to whoa it might make more sense to him :-) You guys are gonna have sooooo much fun :-D
