I sat there today, at the paddocks, watching my horses graze. They watched me and gave me the odd flick of the ear and at one stage, a good long sniff to see if I was hiding any carrots. Then Danny did his 'lick your hands off' thing, Dessy got jealous and basically cuddled up to me as well. I breathed in that good clean horse smell and knew I had reached my nirvana. :-) No matter how bad things have become for me during the past 11 years, through all the tears, heartache, worry and plain old nastyness, my horses have been there when no one else was. If you have to explain to someone why you love horses, they will never get it.
I went for a hoon with Dale on the Firestorm today. Cripes it's LOUD! And it grumbles! I think I understand what they all mean about twins now!!!! Good lordy! It's fully feral is that bike! Had an utter ball hooning up to 5ED and a little beyond. I liked it, but I love the 'Blade. It's more refined. It feels almost like I could ride it and not kill myself. It's like a well trained warhorse or something. I will always be in love with that bike! :-)
Heheheheee, tried on Al's leathers today for a hoot. Almost fell over laughing when realised they fit me perfectly! Like they were made for me!!!! I look nice in leathers. :-)
