You have no idea how scared I was. Not of actually the part where they take the blood, just that damn bit at the start. I got there and steeled myself while Craig went through his application process. I'm on the new database now. I was full on shaking when I went in to get the finger-prick test; i know it sound cowerdly but it used to seriously hurt. I was VERY pleasently surprised. They have new little spring loaded machines that do it and it's no longer a huge needle that tries to crusify you, it's a little paper thin thing that gives you a tiny little nick and it doesn't hurt at all. I jumped more at the very loud click it does now. So I was very relaxed after that. Possibly just a little TOO relaxed because when they took my blood pressure it was TOO LOW! LOL!!!!!So I go through all that just to be turned back on the table because they reckon I will pass out less than 1/2 of the way through! LOL!!! Ah well, must eat and drink more next time. And the next time will be soon now that I know that first part doesn't feel like you are going to die in mortal agony anymore. I'm B+, only 8% of the population have my blood type and it's always in very high demand because it apparently goes well with a lot of the other blood types. Heh heh, I'll be like Marion; she has given so often that she has needle tracks in her arms like a junkie. On a very good note, my blood test came back 100% healthy, always a good thing.
Have one Home Loan application done, if I go it alone I can have about $184,000, with parents as guartours (sp?) $700,000! LOL! Wheeeeee! 10 acre property here I come! NOT! I'm applying through Commonwealth Bank at the moment as well to see what they can offer me, will see their answer probably next week. Ah god damn it's hard to it on your own; the property market is NOT designed for single income type people. Must start walking streets of St Kilda.... ;-)
