Poor wee dragon
Feb. 28th, 2005 11:36 amYesterday mum and dad came home from the beach with the saddest damn thing I have ever seen. Dead leafy seadragon. I realise of course that they die, just never seen one washed up before, ergo never seen one dead before. It was just so damn sad. I only know them from my dives where I see them swimming around all sweet and adorable and peacefull. To see one dead was jut almost unbearably sad. I think mum wanted to have it dried and displayed, but I made her bury him. I think she was taken aback with how firm my resolve was.
Work was alright, that's the last of my 8 hour shifts over and done with. I start 10 hours as of Thursday. Yay. Riding in peak hour, can't wait.
Getting better at lane splitting. Can't believe I have been riding for 4 months now, feels like a lot longer. Probably because I rode with Craig for a fair while before that. *grin* Apparently, I'm goingto pillion on the Blade at a track day... oh GOD! LOL! I don't know whether to be excited to the point of throwing up or scared to the point of passing out at that thought.
EB Games in the Plaza ares elling manga novels for $13!!!! Normally they are like, $30! I got the first 3 Fruits Basket ones and read them last night, adore it! Was goingto start collecting 'X' with my 'pocket money' but there are too many novels in it; can't afford that, so will havet o let that one go. No matter, still very happy to have what I have.
Anyway, going to go get my sticker-making camera from Chaddy now, so on ya bike! LOL!
