Mar. 7th, 2005 02:30 pmAhhh, spent daytime with the horses past 2 days. Was utterly lovely if slightly cold! I love watching them run around. Then night shift last night. 10 hours night shift on SES is DEADLY boring but somehow, one survived. It actually wasn't as bad as I had feared. I read a lot and stitched 5 more frogs onto that XStitch I'm slowly working on. It's looking damn good if I do say so myself. Got to wash and iron the aidar when I'm done before framing but I'm very pleased with how it's turning out. I might even have it done by end of the year at this rate! LOL!
Had UPYA SES T.O to a rescue last night, they didn't even give me the job, I only found out because the police unit they were assisting asked their ETA. So finally got it all. The D.O had a really b ad stutter which made life hard until I realised he wasn;t being a dickheadand ummming and ahhhing on air to piss me off. Once I realised 'oh man, poor bastard has speach impediment, stay cool, let him work it out himself in his own time' he settled down and gave the updates pretty well. Poor guy, must be tough being on radio with that. He was better on the phone, i guess radio made him nervous which wouldn't help the stutter. He was actually very nice. When we talked on phone he was very calm and animate, hardly stuttering at all. Nice bloke. Still a dickhead for not calling the job through when police called them tho! LOL!
Alex starts at Peter Stevens today, hope it's going well! Will miss emailing him during the day tho.
*yawn* better go do something constructive.
