Even tho I am feeling like utter crap and not really in the mood, I really should pay tribute to Sarah for the awesome shots she got of Desi and I when she was here. Unfort our time was very limited and the horses had clearly broken into someone's supply of crack (they were totally hyped up! It made it very hard for Sarah, and a VERY exciting ride for me!!!!). Here's a sample of the shots. I am now awaiting the DISC. I wish I could show you guys the disc she gave me of some of the shots she's done over time, it's gorgeous. It's one of my 'cheer up' views. No working today but you get that.

My absolute favourite which I intend to print and frame when I get my grubby hands on the original file. I didn't even know she was taking this one!!!!

She was soooooo hyper during this shot. And yeah, she dishes. Quite comfortable, actually.

This is us two just through and through

'Drop your reins and look out to the side', she said 'I'm gonna die,' I said.... Desi was...energetic

You guys have NO idea just how spazzed out she was here. Looks so calm, doesn't it?

She may be a lunatic, but I still love her

yes, i know, i'm a dick

I like this one too. very much, in fact. This one will be framed as well.

I call this the 'two fat butts' shot :-) FRAMED

Sarah was trying to get Desi's eye in focus but Desi' moved too quickly. Actually I REALLy like this shot. It's unique, not the typical stereotypical 'over the withers' shot everyone else has. This one has personality!

How good is this? Desi has always adored having this done. She groans and leans right in. I never realised she almost closes her eye on the other side. She looooooooves it :-D

My girl :-).

Oh these are very nice. It would be sooo very cool to go riding and come upon a kangaroo. It would be one of those special life moments for sure. I have to wonder what a horse not used to such a hopping animal would think.

LOL! I think in all the time I have been riding in Lysterfield we haven't come across a roo on maybe 3-4 rides. :-D They are very cute, but they have the brains of rabbits. Not the brightest animals, let's just say. They also blend in to the bush very well so when they get a fright and come leaping out, even my roo-broke horses tend to jump and go WTF?!?!?!?!?!? When I first backed Desi in and started riding her out where roo's are.... that was an experiance. Let's just say, leg muscles from hell is what I got ;-)
