TOMMY!!!! I GOT ANOTHER HORSE! OMFG!!!!

Not much time to write, I gotta try and contact somene at the paddock to let them know I just said yes to a free horse and will need to book a private yard! This is Tom, or Tommy as I'm already calling him. Friend just called me from Geelong, this little guy is only 3 years old, he's a QH X Arab X Percheron. His owner has run into financial difficulty and they are getting rid of their 3 horses. Their other 2 (including Tommy's dam, Arab x Percy) have been rehomed but no one has wanted Tom and he was to go to the market mid next week. Not reg'ed, unbroken, and not in the best condition I've ever seen a horse. No points for guessing where he'd end up!!! Rachel was really upset as she really likes this boy, says he's super friendly, just a clumsy dumb-ass colt. YES COLT! NOT GELDED! FARK!!!!! Getting my vet to come out and geld him next week the day after he arrives. Rachel can't afford another horse (she has 5), so I've stepped up. HOLY SHIT I HAVE ANOTHER HORSE!!!!! I reckon break him in and yeah, I'll have 3 HORSES to maintain! SHIT SHIT SHIT! But look at his FACE! How can you say no to this FACE?!?!?!?

scroll down to the 2mnd last pic; he's actually a draft X QH. What SORT of draft is anyone's guess but I reckon prob Clydie by the look of him. I'd love to actually get him but I do NOT have the time or money for another horse, let alone a 2yr old. Mind you they've broken him in already at 2 :( So that means I'd havet o turn him away for a good year or so to undo the damage breaking in that early would have caused. He's a handsome boy... and in Victoria! :D

Oh had a look at the link, hard to see coz it's sucha tiny pic but looks like a nice looking horsey. The Qh X Arab crosses are pretty common, see them a lot. Perchy's seem to be infiltrating more and more into the Victorian horse sence for pleasure riders. I think people are realising they are a bit smaller and actually calmer than Cyldies, and they blend VERY nicely with the other breeds, plus they are tough and do well on drought suffering paddocks. I'd love to have one one of these days, I totally fell in love with the one at Martin and Diana's wedding, he was soooooo sweet. Ofcourse I could breed a Perchy stallion over Desi and see what I get...*evil grin*

They have a clydie arab filly on that page you linked! It's a baby Mocha. :D :D WANT.

No more horses for the Purr family for a good long while though.

The poor bubba 2yo draft x who's been broken. :(

I think Mocha got broken at 5. :)
