AKA what happens when Maggie has far, far too much chocolate, time on her hands and access to a camera and photoshop :D
Gather 'round, and let me tell you all the Cautionary Tale of a star-crossed young man and his lady love. For this is a love story and it starts with the meeting of two young Easter rabbits, Jackalope, a dashing and charismatic young boy rabbit, and Pansy, a well educated, upper class lady rabbit.

Jackalope met Pansy one fine Easter morning, in a field of green, under the Autumn sun (hey, it's Australian, alright?!?). He looked into her deep chocolate eyes and was hopelessly in love. Pansy took one look at Jackalope's smooth golden fur and matching dashing golden bell on that stylish red ribbon and knew there could never be another for her.

Jackalope and Pansy courted for a few months, and things started getting serious. Until one night when Pansy finally let Jackalope get to 3rd base and take off her bell.

It wasn't until afterwards that she thought about what she should have possibly insisted on...

By then it was too late. Two red lines on the stick could only mean one thing.

Jackalope took the news hard. But he did the honerable thing and they had a shot gun wedding a month later.

Fast foreward 7 months later...

Finally the big day they'd all been waiting for happened: they hatched!

Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Hopkins!
So remember, kids, if it's not on, it's not on!

Date: 2010-04-08 07:18 am (UTC)I have two lindt bunnies sitting in the kitchen. But I think their story would be horror, heads bitten off, then bodies, then the little crumbs of their lives left behind finally vanish into the dark abyss of doom ...

Date: 2010-04-08 10:56 am (UTC)I was thinking about doing a horror sequence, but I like to really savour my Lindt bunnies over a couple hours, letting little bits of chocolate melt in my mouth with a sip of a hot cuppa... oh god...

Date: 2010-04-08 10:59 am (UTC)Yeah I find Lindt go pretty fast. The good quality chocolate always does. I stick to the good stuff only these days which is pretty much only Lindt and Green & Blacks. That choccy is freakin' AWESOME! Mind you I am very partial to Frys Turkish Deligh bars and now and again, Twix :D
