oh wow, you really think so, Sarah? It was such a totally perfect moment, everyone relaxed, everyone STILL, and just almost 100% perfect connection. The only thing I can think of which I wish I could change would be getting Ruby (the mare) to be looking down at Madz and the colt, just to get the focal point to perfection, you know? But I think it's as close to perfect as I could get without resorting to tricks. That's what I love about it; no posing, just a moment of perfection between these 3, totally natural, relaxed and spontaneous :)

Nah, it's perfect the way it is! Ruby with that sleepy, relaxed look on her face is wonderful too, because it shows she is completely at ease with Maddy being there. I am so glad Maddy has her arm on Ruby too, to complete the connection between the three. I'm squeeing that the colt is LOOKING UP adoringly at Maddy, lol! (or maybe his mumma, but either way...)

Yes, if Ruby had her nose down, it would be ever more perfect, but I love it the way it is too!
