Living with a partner's pet can be a pawblem, especially when the furmidable feline in question seems to have declared war. This man moved in with his girlfriend of two years and things are great between them... except for her cat, who clearly didn't get the "cohabitation harmony" memo. While the once-shy rescue kitty is a lap cat to his girlfriend, she's a full-blown ankle-hunting menace to him. We're talking surprise bites, stealth ambushes, and an obsession with sabotaging anything he needs. His chair, his backpack, even his suitcase, which she insists on packing herself into.

What's truly mystifying is that this cat is calm with everyone else, including vets. So what gives? Is he cursed? Covered in invisible tuna oil? He's baffled and borderline defeated, fearing the cat's disdain might doom the relationship.

At this point, all he wants is a peace treaty. Not a pawlitical war. Maybe some boundaries, more playtime (that doesn't involve his ankles), or even a feline behaviorist could help. But one thing's for sure: if he wants to stay in this relationship, he's gotta win over the real boss of the house. Furmidable claws and all.

Everyone has their red flags indicator when dating. That moment when someone says something and you just go, "Uh oh." For this cat lover, the red flag showed up fast: after nearly a week of fun, flirty messaging with a guy she met online, he suddenly dropped a dealbreaker. He hated cats. Worse, he said that if they were going to date, she'd either have to come to his place only, or put her cat outside when he visited.

That was all it took for her to call it off. Because while the guy may have been funny and charming, he clearly didn't respect the fact that her cat was family. Telling someone to boot their pet out of their own home is the dating equivalent of hissing at the welcome mat.

Now, years later, someone told her she may have thrown away a "potentially good relationship." But what kind of good relationship starts by asking you to abandon your values… or your cat? She trusted her instincts and chose loyalty to her furry roommate over a man with a serious cattitude problem. And honestly? That's the kind of purrsonal boundary we can all admire.

Sometimes when we are feeling a little down, the only thing we really need is for a fine feline prince to come along and whisk-er us off our feet. He will whisk us away to his far away kingdom, where we shall be adorned in the finest items from underneath the couch. We will eat only the freshest birds, mice and random leaves from the garden. We will be consumed by cuddles and purrs. And all in all, it does not sound like a bad life at all.

If anything, it sounds rather brilliant, and we would not be against being whisked away to that life. But seeing as we have not met our prince of purrs as yet, we made this list of wholesome and heart-stealing cat child memes to at least help us all prepaw for the precious moment, when one day we might be whisked away to a magical land.

Being a feline fanatic is quite the responsibility. To begin with, you cannot be a true feline fanatic if you are not at all times carrying with you at least one of the following things: cat treats, a mini litter box, or a cat toy. The reason being that a true cat connoisseur knows that you never know when you might meet a fabulous feline, and you never know quite what they might need in that moment when you meet them.

But there is more that you have to be aware of as an ultimate adorer of cats, and that is the latest and greatest funny cat memes, which not only serve to lift your spirits, but also to keep you abreast of the latest happenings in the feline world. Which is why we made this list, because as feline fanatics ourselves, we believe it is our duty to make sure that our community is as well-informed as possible.

Some weeks feel longer than others. It's not that it actually happens, but it certainly feels like this sometimes. The week can drag on, and on, and on, and the weekend doesn't seem to come any closer despite time passing by. It's just a reality of modern civilization, and all of us, hardworking hoomans, need to deal with it.

It sounds kind of somber, until you remember we have cats. Cats can make anything easier to deal with, because cats are magic. With a soft meow and a cute purr, a cat can boost the mood to the moodiest person on the moodiest day. Cats have this wholesome power to nourish the soul and help humble hoomans deal with the hardships of getting through the week. If you're a cat pawrent, you already know.

For this week to be easier, you can always get your feline funnies and precious cat pawsts to help your soul laugh this week away. Funny feline funnies can make any week better, and the more of them - the better.

Howdy and good meowrning, feline fam. You know - the more time we spend with our cats, the less we like people. If money were no option, we would open a cat sanctuary where we could live in nature surrounded by our feline friends and not a single soul that we would have to make small talk with. No work events, no social gatherings where we talk about the weather and what Netflix shows we're watching, just us and the latest cat drama from our boisterous barn cats.

If we have to go to one more event and pretend to be a normal hooman, we might just lose it. That's why we especially connect with this batch of hissterical cat memes below - we're socially exhausted, but emeowtionally available for cats all day, every day. Go out after work to meet some colleagues for a night out? Absolutely not. But go out after work and feed some of the stray kitties? Absolutely. It's all a matter of purriorities. We hope you enjoy these floofy feline funnies below, and that your day be blessed with as few people as pawssible.

You know how we always talk about the cat distribution system? About how it's not you who adopts the cat but it's actually the cat who adopts the human? This is true. But it's not limited. The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways. Sometimes, cats adopt humans, and other times… cats can adopt other cats

That happens more often than you would think. You bring a kitten home, hoping that you will have a new friend to play with and cuddle with and spend time with, but before you know it, all of that kitten's time is spent hanging out with its cat sister or brother. And although on the one hand, you might be a little miffed that you didn't get all the attention that you wanted from the kitten, a much bigger part of you is so, so happy to see them getting along and loving one another. And that is pretty much what happened in today's story.

Stealing a cat, on most occasions, is a really, really bad thing. Now, we have to define stealing here. Because we have come across lots of stories of people accused of stealing a cat when that is, in fact, not what happened. In many cases, cats that are allowed to roam outside might adopt an additional human on the side, like a vacation home for them, but that doesn't mean that the original owner would be happy about it. That's not what "stealing a cat" is. Stealing a cat means going out of your way to get them behind the owner's back.

That is what happened in this story. And although 99% of the times we would say that it was beyond wrong and that they should give the cat back as soon as possible… not this time. This time, the cat was not "stolen" from its owner, it was rescued from the owner. And she can throw as many tantrums and make as many threats as she wants, but the cat is far, far safer far, far away from her.

Every cat pawrent knows the fact that once you have a cat in the house, your house is not your house anymore. Not that anything is fundamentally different, your house didn't change by much, but it's under new management. You cat. That's the new management. Once you have a cat, they're the one to run things around the house. What can we say, cats are natural royals who rule with a mighty fist over their realms. They watch for invading birds in the windows, they demand their treat tithe that they deserve, and they are responsible for the household schedule.

Since we can safely assume you're a cat pawrent, we know that you already know your life is ruled by your cat. And that's not a bad thing. In fact, it's the most wholesome thing a person can wish for themselves. Having your life run by a cat is a blissful existence. And if you're already there, enjoying this life, you can definitely enjoy some cat memes until your royal cat at home asks for another treat.

When one cat door closes, feline fam, another one opens. That's what we like to tell ourselves when we miss out on an awwpportunity in one way or another. And when it comes to finding yourself a new feline friend, the awwpportunities are literally endless thanks to the purrfectly omnipotent power of the Cat Distribution System. Sure, you can take matters into your own hands and try to adopt one from a shelter, but more often than not, a cat will be presented to you when the CDS has one (or four) ready for you.

This is what we want to say to the loving feline pawrent in this post: don't get discouraged, you will find your purrfect kitty when your time is right. You see, they got rejected from a private animal shelter when they applied to adopt a cute kitten. The shelter rejected their application, despite them already being a pawrent to three healthy cats! Luckily, the cute cat community had their back and gave them some heartwarming words. Read through the whole thread below!

Cats are criminals. We mean that when we say it. We mean that in the literal sense. Cats commit crimes. Sometimes, they do it right in front of our faces, with no shame at all. Cats steal food right off our plates. Heck, they may be looking straight into our eyes when they do it, and they feel no remorse. Sometimes, it's small things like that. Other times, cats lock us out of our own bathrooms. And even beyond that, sometimes, cats rob grocery stores and steal… you guessed it, sausages.

This has all happened, but somehow, they have managed to get away. Every single time. Probably because of how cute they are. But not today. Today, a criminal was apprehended. The cats crime? Running away from home and then swiping at the officers who were trying to be nice and rescue it. And so, here we are, a cat is written up in the system. There are even paw prints and a mugshot to prove that the crime happened.

This first time pawrent hoped a furry friend would bring comfort and calm, but two weeks in, things are less purrfect companion and more clingy chaos. Instead of the independent cat she dreamed of, she adopted a sweet but seriously needy velcro kitty who's turned her home into a 24/7 meow marathon. Between constant meowing, tailing, fur everywhere, and overstimulation, she's realizing this may have been a catastrophic mismatch.

Despite being open with the rescue about her struggles, she feels like her concerns were brushed off with the classic "just give it time" fluff. But not every adoption ends in a fairytail and that's okay! She's planning to return the kitty (with a heavy heart) and hopes to quietly reclaim her peace, her pillows, and her naps without judgment.

Honestly? We get it. Sometimes the mews you need is your own. Loving animals doesn't mean you have to live with one, and knowing your limits is pawsitively responsible. Here's to both human and kitty finding better-fitting homes for their needs. No shame in knowing when to say meowt!

Relationships can be a real catastrophe sometimes, but bringing a cat into the mix when your girlfriend's terrified of them? That's just pawsitively inconsiderate.

This woman's boyfriend moved to Atlanta to be closer to her, which was a sweet gesture. But right after moving, he made a solo decision that completely disregarded her fears. He got a cat.

He knew she was scared of them, but his dream of owning a cat took priority over his existing relationship. Now, every visit feels like a fur-flying fiasco: the cat scratches at night, struts all over their dining space, and tracks litter everywhere. It's enough to make her hissitate about moving in with him.

She's stuck in a classic cat-and-mouse game between her fear of felines and the boyfriend's insistence that the cat's home turf is non-negotiable. She's expected to adapt, but he won't budge. He wants her to move in, but doesn't want to compromise on any cat-related rules, insisting "this is her home." She's not asking him to give up his furry friend, just hoping for a purrfect balance where all can coexist without scratching at their relationship.

Instead, she's caught in a battle of fur and feelings. And let's be honest: what does it say when someone puts your very real fears behind their pet's comfort zone?

You know it is rather funny how in this life there are many mismatched emotions that at their root all mean the same thing 'feed me now!'. It can be anger, frustration, stress, sadness and a whole host of other emotions that come bubbling up to the surface, but each and every one of them can be quickly quashed with the calming power of cooked food.

And while these emotions can get a good bit mixed up in our social interactions, when it comes to cats, there is no mistaking their 'feed me now' feelings. For one, food is pretty much all that cats are interested in life, and for two, when a cat wants food you will know, because they are anything but coy about it. So hang onto your hats as we delve into the delulu world of hangry and hissterical cats.
