We love cats. We also know you love cats dearly. It's a safe bet once you're already here - you're at least a cat enthusiast, if not a fully-fledged feline fanatic fan or a crazy cat lady. So we're all in this cat-loving boat together. And since we are, you'd agree with us that kittens are the most precious and pure creature that has ever walked (or waddled, because it takes them time) on Earth.

And if you agree with us on the matter of kittens, you might also agree with us on the matter of cat memes. We think you will. And this is the hot take: cat memes are the funniest memes. You see? Not that controversial. And very true. Cat memes are the best memes that have ever been memed.

But we're here not to talk about cat memes and cute kittens individually. No, we're here to present to you the ultimate combination that'll melt hearts with its cuteness overload and hissterical cat comedy - we're talking about cute kitten memes. Look at how itty-bitty cute they are! Our hearts are melting all over the place.

Cats are like our babies. Like our babies. We know that they are not, but… as people who don't have their own children yet, we end up treating our cats a little like they are babies. We buy our cats cute toys (that they usually don't use, and instead, prefer to play with some random hairband). We get our cats cool and expensive cat trees (only for the cats to sit in the boxes instead). We talk to our cats, we hug our cats, we sleep next to them… we love them, and we show that in our own nurturing ways.

Of course, people remind us every once in a while, after seeing us interact with our cats, that our cats are, in fact, not our babies. And we know. But… we do wake to the sound of a cat vomiting the same way that mothers wake up to the sounds of their babies crying - bolting upright in the middle of the night, fully ready to do whatever needs to be done. So far, we did not know this could be used against us, but now we know.

Some cats are chill. Some are cuddly. And then… there are the divas. You know the type. They strut into the room like they own the place. Because let's face it, they do. These feline royalty don't just live in your home, they rule it, with the attitude of a queen, the drama of a king, and the pickiness of a pampered pop star.

Princess Whiskers doesn't drink water from a bowl. Oh no, she demands it fresh from the faucet. Sir Meowington needs his meals served just so, or he'll flick his tail and walk off in a huff. And don't even think about sitting in their sunbeam without prior approval.

These cats are experts at getting their way. They lounge luxuriously across your laptop, give you side-eye from their velvet perch, and meow with the urgency of a royal decree when breakfast is even one minute late. But we love them for it. Their flair. Their sass. Their fur-lined egos.

So go ahead, fluff that pillow, clear the schedule, and remember: you're not the main character in your own home. Your highness has entered the room and they demand chin scritches, now.

This first-time homeowner was feline pretty good about moving into a new place with his twin brother after years of living in a cramped two-bedroom with five other people. But the good vibes didn't last long. Just a few days into settling in, the younger brother decided to adopt a sick, unneutered stray cat… without asking anyone.

The cat was let in through an open door and promptly declared "our cat" by the brother and his teenage girlfriend (who doesn't even live there). Despite having no job, the brother insists they can care for the cat, though it's mostly the girlfriend footing the vet bills. Meanwhile, the house is already looking a mess, smelling worse, and there are still two other cats waiting to move in once the place is ready.

Understandably, this has raised some red flags. While there was an initial "sure, as long as you take care of it," that agreement is starting to unravel faster than a ball of yarn. Can you really commit to a sick cat if you can't even commit to cleaning the litter box?

Backing out of the cat deal might seem cold, but expecting basic responsibility? That's just purractical.

While hoomans hit the books, cats hit the naps… but not anymore! These academically ambitious felines have traded in their cardboard boxes for textbooks and are on a mission to earn their meowster's degrees. Whether they're pawndering quantum pawsics, studying felineology, or just snoozing on a laptop mid-Zoom class, these scholarly floofs are giving Ivy League energy.

Don't be fooled by their sleepy eyes. Behind every yawn is a brain packed with purrsuasive arguments and meownificent ideas. One kitty's thesis? "The Socioeconomic Impact of Treat Distribution." Another's working on "Advanced Kneading Techniques: A Study in Biscuit-Making." You'll find them lounging on stacks of paper, walking across keyboards mid-essay, and raising a paw in class (usually just to knock a pen off the table).

These campus cats may not have opposable thumbs, but they've got top-tier cattitude and GPA: Great Paw Average. Sure, their study methods include chewing on notebooks and falling asleep during lectures, but when it comes to being adorable, they're A+ students.

That is it, enough with daydreaming, enough with pawcrastination, it simply is not working anymore. Either it has become too easy to spot thanks to all the awareness about the act, or it has simply become ineffective like a cat's scratching tree after all the twine has fallen off. But just because our go-to distraction methods have failed us, does not mean that we do not still require distraction from life's languishing challenges. If anything, we need even more distractions to make up for the faulty methods.

And as such, we introduce you to this list of adorable cat memes that will distract you from literally everything. No family, no phone, no work will sway your attention, the world could be burning outside and you would be none the wiser. So use this method carefully, for there is no coming back, but golly gosh if it is not effective.

Cats, being the eclectic species they are, have a lot of surprising characteristics among them. You have the feisty felines who would rather touch fire than have anyone touch or bother them, the velcro cats who would rather give up one of their nine lives than not be pawmenently attached to their pawrents and then you have the dopes, the derps the dumbos.

The kind of cat who could only wish he had two brain cells to rub together, but on account of them only having the one single brain cell, are limited to living at that level of cognitive processing their whole lives. However, there is a portion of those single brain celled cattos who still find it within themselves to care so much for their hoomans that they would be willing to give up even their last and lone brain cell to help them if they could. And that special breed is what we have lined up for you today in this list of caring memes of cute cats who'd give you their last brain cell.

It's difficult to pass a cat that needs a home and not give them one. This is why we become cat pawrents - to make sure these fluffy feline friends have a lovely home, like they deserve. Adopting a cat from the streets is a noble deed, it's literally saving a life, and not just that - the love and affection you get back from the cat is ameowzingly great. This human-cat friendship created after an adoption like that is one of the most wholesome connections in the world.

This one heary hooman thought exactly the same. They wanted to save this beautiful female cat from the streets. She was hanging around in a rural area, looked very young and in a need of a home. This person adopted her, of course, because how could they leave this cutie patootie by herself? But little did they know, this beautiful orage cat was about to be a mama cat. Surprise, surprise, a little after her adoption she gave birth to an adorable litter of kittens. What a wholesome little bonus.

The person was surprised, obviously - they suddently had six cats instead of one! But their heart is so big, and their mind determined - all the kittens will get furever homes with other loving people, who will give them the best cat lives. This heary hooman took care of the kittens and found other wholesome people as them to adopt the kittens. When they told the story to the online feline family, heart were melted. And also ours. This is a surprise story with a happy ending indeed.

We know that we rave about the cat distribution system a lot, and we do believe that it is real, but we also believe that not everyone who owns cats was blessed by the CDS. As in, some cat owners should not be cat owners. If you neglect your cat for any reason… if you leave your cat outside all day long without caring for it or wondering where it is and if it's okay, if you don't take your cat to the vet when it needs help… then you should not be a cat owner, and if your cat gets "stolen" by someone more caring then you, then you don't get to throw a fit about it.

But this neighbor still did. After someone rescued his "outside" senior 13-year-old cat, who he left outside all night long, not caring that it was freezing out, this neighbor still had the audacity to threaten to call the police. Keep the cat away from him. The cat deserves better.

When you are a kid, you go on all kinds of exciting adventures with your parents, some that you might even remember for the rest of your life. For some kids, they remember the day their mom decided to let them skip school and take them out for a movie and ice cream. Other kids fondly remember a specific vacation with their family, filled with fun activities. Then there are those who remember even the smallest of gestures, like a relaxing afternoon, watching TV together in the living room.

The daughters in the story below, will probably forever remember the day they helped their dad save a tiny little kitten from a rural road.

Finding your furrever furriend is a special moment you want to cherish for the rest of your lives. Having your beloved family alongside you on that ride will only help you appreciate those memories even more, and having videos like the one below to commemorate these moments is even better.

Mondays, are we right? Well, as you might have guessed by the title of this list it is not only us work hating hoomans who have an issue with this day that comes around every week, it is also our cat children. And who can blame them, Monday for them means that their food hooman is going to be out of the house for 8 to 12 hours.

A lifetime in cat years and a period where they will not be getting any extra treats, no coincidental cuddles, and most certainly none of those delicious smoothie straws they have come to be obsessed with. So who better to relate to, than the being that you are missing being with anyway, because both of you are suffering just as much as the other. So settle in for some feline flavored satire to sweeten the sour taste in your mouth that Monday has already managed to manifest.

Howdy, feline friends and family. We got visited by the CDS today! We woke up early this morning to hear some meowing coming from outside our house. We thought one of our cats snuck out and couldn't get back in, so we rushed out of bed to check. To our surprise, we found a purrfectly awwdorable kitten crying outside the window, with a unique fur pattern. It was white with black stripes - like one of those white tigers you see in the zoos. It was incredible!

We waited around for momma cat, but she never came back, so we took the kitty inside and started caring for him. One of our friends had been wanting to adopt a kitten for a long time, so she came over and took this beauty home. The kitten was so striking, however, we couldn't help but wonder what other rare-looking cats were out there in the world - so we did some searching and found these 21 fabulous felines that are purrfectly one-of-a-kind. Meowrvel at their beauty and have a great day!

To us, as people who love big cats so, so much, it's hard to ever imagine someone treating them badly. Lion cubs are so adorable and precious. They may grow up to be fierce, meowjestic and powerful, but as cubs, lions are vulnerable and need help. In fact, we don't know if there is anything more vulnerable than a solitary lion cub. And unfortunately, there are some people out there who use that fact for their own gain.

This sweet lion cub was being passed around between human to human, as they tried to sell it while hiding it from authorities. There was no care to the lion cub's well-being whatsoever. It was lucky that the cub was rescued as early as it was - before the damage done to it was irreversible. Being rescued gave the cub a second chance at an actual life, and he took that chance with all four of his paws and is living an absolutely fabulous life in a sanctuary in Africa right now.
