It still burns

What if i had gone down to the paddock and seen something was wrong, called a vet, would he be alive now? Is it my fault? Did I fail him?
Every day it burns.
I miss my autumn horse so much.
Every single day.

Oh Maggie. Don't do that to yourself. As many have said it was sudden and you couldn't have done anything to change the outcome.

It is hard.

I know it hurts.
